Jesse M. Cohen is the Founder and Executive Director of @MountofAngels a youth arts foundation based in the Los Angeles area. He worked as an attorney on the East Coast for 20 years during which time he also gained extensive experience working with nonprofits and engaging with politics and government.

Throughout that entire period—and continuing today—he has always been an artist. In 2023, Jesse founded Mount of Angels, bringing together his legal background, nonprofit and civic experience and artistic practice to shape the direction and structure of the organization and to make art more accessible to LA youth, especially those who have exceptional skill but do not have the financial means to pursue their craft more aggressively.
