Making latte art requires a good espresso, well-steamed milk, and some practice with pouring techniques.
Making tulip latte art is a beautiful and impressive technique—but it’s simpler than it looks once you understand the steps and practice
Making Rosetta latte art is one of the most iconic and beautiful patterns in the world of coffee. It's elegant, requires some control, and feels incredibly rewarding once you get it right.
Making a heart latte art is the easiest and most beginner-friendly design to start with — and it looks beautiful too. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you master it:

☕ 1.What You'll Need
---------------------------------
( 1 ) Fresh espresso (with crema)
( 2 )old milk (whole milk works best)
( 3 )spresso machine with steam wand

( 4 )A milk pitcher (metal is best)

( 5 )A wide coffee cup.

🥛 2. Steam the Milk
---------------------------------( 1 )Fill pitcher with cold milk up to the bottom of the spout.

( 2 )urge the steam wand before inserting.

( 3 )Insert wand just below the milk surface, then turn it on.

( 4 )Stretch the milk (incorporate air) for a few seconds — you’ll hear a "tssk tssk" sound.

( 5 )Submerge the wand slightly deeper to heat the milk to about 55–65°C (130–150°F).

( 6 )Swirl the milk to make it smooth and shiny — you want "microfoam", not big bubbles.

☕ 3. Pull the Espresso Shot:
---------------------------------
( 1 )Use freshly ground coffee, tamp evenly, and extract a double shot (about 25–30 seconds).

( 2 )The crema (the golden-brown foam) is important — don’t let it sit too long.

🎨 4. Pour and Create Art
---------------------------------
Basic Technique?

( 1 )Swirl the milk in the pitcher just before pouring to integrate the foam.

( 2 )Start pouring from about 3–4 inches above the cup’s surface to mix the milk with espresso.

( 3 )As the cup fills, bring the pitcher closer, almost touching the surface.

( 4 )Pour more foam now — this is where your design forms.

( 5 ) Use a gentle wiggle or side-to-side motion for patterns like hearts or rosettas.

Popular Designs
---------------------------------
( 1 )Heart: Pour steady, then a quick pull-through at the end.

( 2 )Rosetta: Wiggle the pitcher side-to-side as you pour, then finish with a pull-through.

( 3 )Tulip: Pour in short bursts and pull through at the end.

🔁 Tips for Practice
---------------------------------
( 1 )Use whole milk (better texture).

( 2 )Clean your steam wand immediately after use.

( 3 )Practice pouring into water with dish soap for milk-texture simulation.

( 4 )Don’t get discouraged — latte art takes lots of repetition.
