Etoniah Creek State Forest - Beautiful Scenic Drive!

Etoniah Creek State Forest is one of the best kept secrets in this region! The scenic drives here are lengthy and beautiful and the Florida Forest Service is doing a great job of maintaining the roads. This would also be a great place for hiking or off-road bicycling. The Etoniah Creek Wildlife Management Area is an adjacent property just down the road from the main property and is equally as beautiful and accessible. The Florida Trail also passes through these tracks of land and there is a wonderful primitive campsite that is worth the effort to find. Be warned: in warmer months ticks are definitely a problem in these natural areas so be sure to have a plan and be prepared!
