What Gives Men Grit: Pennsylvania's 28th Div
Dr Edward Lengel's presentation recounts the dramatic action fought by the US 28th Infantry Division (Pennsylvania National Guard) in October 1918 near the French town of Apremont.
Dr Edward Lengel is a military historian and professor of history at the University of Virginia. He is the author of To Conquer Hell, The Meuse-Argonne 1918, as well as World War I Memories: An Annotated Bibliography of Personal Accounts Published in English Since 1919.
Recorded at The Western Front Association's East Coast (USA) Spring 2012 World War I History Symposium, Saturday May 12 held at York County Heritage Trust, York , PA.
