Installing a Dash Cam in the BMW i8 (or any other car) with EASE!

I felt it would be good to not only give my thoughts about what it takes to install a Dash Cam in any car, but to also show the steps I took to install a Dash Cam in the i8. I previously installed BlackVue cameras in my other vehicles, but for this one, I chose the DDPai Mini3. I haven't had much of a need to get rear-facing camera recordings, so far. If I was rear-ended, my front camera would show that I was either stopped or moving and indicate whether I was changing lanes or doing something which may have contributed to a crash. However, so far, only the front cameras have provided me with useful video. Therefore, I'm sticking with the DDPai front facing camera. But, because they are so inexpensive, I could actually put another DDPai on the rear of the vehicle and both DDPai cameras would cost less than a BlackView with two cameras. It's a trade off.
