Heavy Turbulence and Wind Shear in a Diamond DA40 at 200 feet Landing at Kissimmee, FL

A beautiful VFR but very windy day in Florida. The Area Forecasts were calling for windy conditions in the entire region.

In conditions like that you must always be ready to deal with wind shear. Having learned how to fly up in the windy city (Chicago) one has to get used to the wind.

At 5:18 look for the wind shear of at least 15 knots at 200' MSL.

I flew the Diamond DA40 which is a wonderful and very forgiving aircraft.
