Testing the iPhone 13 pro with PRO PHOTOGRAPHER

Welcome to my iPhone 13 Pro vs Canon 5D Mk3 VLOG with Zak Nuttall. We’re so lucky to both have the same day off work. It’s hard working and trying to have a life and fit everything in. Todays video I test out the iPhone 13 Pro against Zak’s Canon 5D Mk3. Zak is also a pro photographer, his socials can be found further down below.

How close does the iPhone 13 Pro come to a dedicated professional camera with little to no editing. I obviously edited the photos slightly (cropping and colour to make it as fair as possible). Not only did I compare the iPhone 13 Pro to Zak’s camera but also take photos with it to see how good the camera is compared to my iPhone 11 Pro and use its new features like cinematic mode, ProRes and 3x optical zoom.

Majority of this video was filmed on my iPhone 11 Pro. I didn’t use my Sony a6400 for this video. It was a pure iPhone day. The 11 Pro still holds really well considering majorly of video is shot in 1080p and upscaled to 4K within LumaFusion.

Unfortunately its hard to show the differences with 1080p, 4K and ProRes when my iPad Air 4 and LumaFusion does not support the format thought it wouldn’t make a big difference. YouTube doesn’t support / will downgrade the footage.

Overall the iPhone 13 is a great phone and worth the switch from the 11 Pro. I love cinematic mode and upgrade in cameras for better night photos. With the inclusion of macro mode gives you more options for photos too. 3x optical zoom is also amazing, I’m loving my zoom shots right now especially with Telephoto mode even though it lacks shooting in RAW.

Zak and I ended back at his apart to look over what we captured and discuss what our favourite shot was and compare the iPhone 13 Pro to his Canon 5D Mk3.
