Gayane Khachatryan

This is the Khatchatryan family. Mother Gayane (34) is married and has 3 children- Mariam (14), Gagik (11), and Gor (6). Gayane’s husband went abroad to find a job. Their son Gagik Khachatryan is has a neurological disorder since birth. He suffers from epilepsy. It is a chronic disorder, which has various etymology and is characterized by recurrent seizures which, in their turn, are accompanied by movement disorder, cognitive decline, vegetative state and psychiatric disorders. All of these are the result of brain malfunction. Loss of consciousness or awareness, generalized seizures and random, unprovoked movements are the main symptoms. Gagik cannot speak either. The family lacked a decent food supply winter clothes and coats, winter shoes, diapers and firewood. FLY surprised this family by providing them a large food supply, new clothes and shoes, toys, school supplies, household items, hygiene products, heated blankets, heaters, and diapers for Gagik.
