«Голгофа» (Golgotha) is a @8kulia (8-th Ball band) song about the realities of life in the East of Ukraine. It’s a metaphorical story about a mother neglected by her own grown-up daughter. In addition, grandchildren forget native Ukrainian language and loose a national identification. Song tells the tragedy of Ukrainian culture and language in crowded eastern cities. Is this the end, and the crow above portends doom? No, it is the Black Raven calling us to a sacrificial struggle for revival!

8 куля (8 ball) is a rock trio from Kharkiv (city in the northeast of Ukraine). Founded in 2019. All band members are Kharkiv region residents. Music is something as blues rock, hard rock, indie etc. All songs have exclusively Ukrainian-language lyrics. As special features might be сonsidered either nice melodies or badass riffs.
First 3 studio singles were released in the end of 2021 – begining of 2022. A bit before in July 2021 8 куля (8 ball) has become a prize-vinner of 30 unniversary Taras Bulba rock festival. The band continues working on the future album which will also containe songs written during and about russian-Ukrainian war.
