Sony has produced a PS5 teardown video that is actually really cool. However, it’s hard not to immediately notice the PlayStation shaped elephant in the room which is actually just the PS5 itself. Turns out it’s huge! Like, really big… really, really, big. Okay, okay, we’ll be meme-ing about this one for a while but there was some really cool info in the teardown video too. Yasuhiro Ootori, VP of mechanical design at Sony Interactive Entertainment took the entire PlayStation 5 apart, on camera! It was awesome. Look, we can’t tell you everything in this description because then you won’t watch our YouTube video about another YouTube video but it looks like the PS5 is decked out with liquid metal thermal conducting two layers of noise-reducing insulation, and the prospect of interchangeable side panels.
