Ksenija Sidorova - Part II: The Accordionist

Classical accordionist Ksenija Sidorova is one of those musicians you could abandon on Mars and she’d still tackle any musical challenge that came her way. Director Alexis Amitirigala spent two days in Switzerland with the Latvian musician and captured the encounter in a series of web videos. No matter whether she’s explaining her instrument, mastering a world premiere, busking for the first time, mashing up accordion literature or tackling a jam session with a bunch of ape-like creatures – Ksenija Sidorova flies across obstacles with her accordion like a butterfly.
