Underwater camera trap (GoPro Hero 8)

Spot X has designed a custom PCB that allows users to trigger a GoPro (or any other camera) using RS232, PWM or analog data sensors. The first example use-case is shown in the video where we trigger the camera with a Vemco acoustic tag (which are implanted into animals for movement studies). Video footage of the study animal allows scientists to assess condition, estimate length, as well as observe behaviours in the wild.
