How is Boba Fett in Disneyland's Galaxy's Edge?

At Star Wars Celebration 2022 Disney Parks Portfolio Creative Executive, Scott Trowbridge, revealed the upcoming appearances of Boba Fett, Fennec Shand, The Mandalorian, and Grogu at Galaxy’s Edge.
But these characters do not fit in the timeline set up for the Star Wars-themed Disney park. How can they appear? Did Disney drop canon for the sake of cross-marketing? Join us as we discuss and explain this new addition to the Disney Parks!
