Respectful Lobby Racing with friends - (22/03/2024) - #granturismo7

Tonight I will be livestreaming more respectful lobby races with my online friends from around 21:00 to 21:30 and until around midnight. The reason for the different start time is because I will be participating in the STCC Championship which begins tonight at 20:00 and I'll start the main stream from then and for those people who wish to see how I get on. Not too many spins I hope but that will depend on whether I can keep my nerves in check.

After the STCC races, I will run a number of Gr.4 based races at various tracks.

Because of the time constraints and wanting to keep the racing moving, I am planning to run a short practice whilst I interact with chat and prepare things, then a short qualifier. I will annouce the beginning of the qualifier time a minute or two before I push the button. However, the race will begin about one minute after the qualifier without further warning. This is to try to keep the stream flowing between races and especially between qually and race.

I plan to begin this session with a run of the Gr.4 cars at Brands Hatch in preparation for this Friday's STCC Championship that several of us are entered for. I'll then run random races until 23:00 when we will likely drop back to Brands Hatch for more STCC practice.

If you wish to race with us, please keep it clean and respectful at all times. The sessions are policed and persistent dirty racing will result in a kick.

The races are open to Friends, so please subscribe to the channel and then ask for my PSN address in the chat. Make a friend request and I’ll grant that usually between each race. As always, these races are based on a first in the lobby basis. People that join the lobby but do not join the race in a timely manner will be kicked, purely to keep the races moving.

For the random lobby races, I am trying to have a 5-10 minutes practice session (often when I am doing some housekeeping on the channel, or chatting), then a 10 minute qualifier and then the race itself, often over 10 minutes, or longer for he longer tracks like the Nordschleife, Le Mans, etc.

My online name is Mitchell Morgan and this is my Sony PlayStation 5 (PS5) Gran Turismo 7 based channel, going under the name of PlayStation Racer. I love racing on motor racing sim games and Gran Turismo has been my favourite for many years. I have been playing GT7 since it was released on my other profile, but this is a complete rerun on my new profile for my new PlayStation Racer channel and my new team Mitchell Morgan Racing. As this channel develops, I plan to try my hand at other motor racing games and those will also feature from time to time.

On this channel I will be touching on nearly all of the elements of GT7 gameplay, sharing my hints, tips and experiences with my audience as I play through the game from start to finish.
