BALENCIAGA FIT. It's time for a locker refresh. Express your unexpected side and strike a pose of high fashion. Also, get two free rewards by completing the Balenciaga Punch Card challenges: Fashion Doggo Spray and Knight Looks Spray.

Fortnite players will soon get to snag apparel from luxury brand Balenciaga for themselves and their in-game avatars. The duo announced Monday a partnership which includes adding Balenciaga outfits to wear within Fortnite, as well as a limited edition run of real-world items including hats, t-shirts and sweatshirts. The outfit sets will also feature Balenciaga pickaxes, "backbling," and other items so players can personalize their in-game look.

FREE REWARDS QUESTS
There are some rewards that players can acquire for free. Two different quests need to be completed to unlock these rewards in Fortnite. They are:
☑️ Emote in front of Shady Doggo graffiti at Retail Row, Sweaty Sands, or Steamy Stacks (1)
☑️ Collect Triple S sneakers in the Strange Times Featured Hub (4)

Emoting in front of the graffiti will be easy once players find it, which will also be easy since there are three POIs that players can find it at. Believer Beach, Steamy Stacks, and Retail Row all have appropriate graffiti. Additionally, the "perfect pose" referenced in the description refers to any emote, not a specific one.

Triple S sneakers can be collected in the Strange Times Featured Hub. That hub will allow players to hang out with other fashionable players, change their looks with Changing Booths and add Balenciaga Fit Outfits to their Fortnite inventory. It will be modeled after actual Balenciaga stores. Once 40 of the sneakers are collected, players will complete that challenge and receive rewards: the Fashion Doggo spray and the Knight Looks spray. These are the only free rewards from this event.

BALENCIAGA STORE
Fortnite will also host an in-game Balenciaga store that will feature members of the game's community on virtual billboards. Fortnite and Balenciaga will also launch a limited edition collection of physical apparel players can purchase at Balenciaga stores or the retailer's website. The clothing will roll out Monday or Tuesday, depending on region.

"Self-expression is one of the things that makes Fortnite so unique, and there couldn’t be a better first fashion partner than Balenciaga to bring their authentic designs and trendsetting culture to millions of players around the world,” said Epic Games President Adam Sussman in a statement.
Balenciaga is the latest clothing brand to dip into virtual worlds as part of a deeper push into the metaverse, which combines augmented reality and virtual reality to connect people.
