Hello dear friends,
In today’s vlog I will take you to some of my favorite places in Milan. We are going to visit the famous Sforza Castle and I will take you for a ride on a charming old tram.
Castello Sforzesco (Sforza Castle) is one of the most beautiful landmarks in Milan. It was built as a fortress during the fourteenth century and later Francesco Sforza, Duke of Milan transformed it into a magnificent ducal palace. We are going to walk in the beautiful courtyard of the castle. Currently the Sforza castle houses several museums: The Museum of Ancient Art - here you can find the Rondanini Pietà, the last and unfinished work by Michelangelo; The Pinacoteca del Castello Sforzesco; The Museum of Musical Instruments; The Egyptian Museum; The Archaeological Museum of Milan; The Applied Arts Collection; The Antique Furniture and Wooden Sculpture Museum.
