Jungian Psychology Explained - The Self - Carl G. Jung - Archetypes
New two part video all about the Self archetype of the personality in Jungian Analytical Psychology. The Self is the aspect of ourselves that is the higher Self that is most in touch with source consciousness.
We can be in touch with our Self through deeper levels of self awareness, self knowledge, and self acceptance beyond just what's in our self concept.
Carl Jung’s process of Individuation is all about turning inward toward deeper layers of the psyche like the ego, the Anima or Animus, and the Self. That's why there's such profound possibilities that come from deeper levels of self realization.
As Jung explained, once we have created a strong and healthy Ego, we can begin the Individuation process where we turn inward with processes like Shadow Work and integrating the archetypes of the Anima or Animus.
Though the theory of the Self archetype originates with Carl G. Jung and Jungian Psychology, in this video I share my own perspective on the Self and how it works with the other archetypes of the psyche and our unique human psychology.
