Ultimate Space Saver For Small Workspaces - P1 - Mechanism

I have been working on a design for a compact workspace with multifunctional storage and organization. I am hoping the design can be adapted to suit a wide range of applications. A compact arts and crafts storage and work unit or a puzzle and toy storage and play unit is just two of the adaptions I would like to explore.

In the first part of my Ultimate Space Saving Work Table And Storage Unit, I get rolling on a storage unit that can convert to a table/workbench.

I wanted the conversion process to be effortless so I had to get a bit creative with the mechanism.
