Hanging Styx in the Las Cruces Half Breed…and Other Business

The day following an outpatient surgery, Pat got up and decided he wanted to make this video about hanging a horse to introduce him to a western bit. Styx is a 9 year old TB gelding who started life as a prospective race horse, then he came to us and Pat restarted him. Then we sold him to a friend who rode him primarily in an english saddle and the Missing Link Snaffle. Now, Styx is moving up to a Las Cruces Half Breed which suites his conformation. The headstall and bit used for this demonstration is from the D Bar M Western Store in Reno NV.
