El Cotillo Fuerteventura Building Works Update

The building work in El Cotillo is continuing and another site, right opposite the Coral Cotillo Beach Hotel, has almost had the excavation work finished in preparation to start building something else. I don't know what as there are no signs to show it.

It is pretty noisy it must be said. I am sure that Coral, the new owners of the hotel, which has recently reopened after some major alterations, cannot be too pleased.

With the empty plots there for years it was inevitable that building work would eventually take place of course.

There are still plenty of quiet parts of El Cotillo so don't let it put you off coming.
