E. Oregon Part 4: Slow Solo Slog to Surprising Scenery

I've parted ways with SW Idaho Overlanding and Coyote Works, and now continuing solo in my Subaru Forester out across some vast empty eastern Oregon desert. I'm seeking interesting geological features but stumble across some history along the way.

This is part 4 of a 5-part series. Here are links to previous episodes:

(I attempted to record the sound of the coyotes as it was the closest and most intense I'd ever heard, but I had drained my camera battery the night before and didn't think to put a new battery in before going to sleep. This was such a key element to that morning's experience, because they not only woke me up, they woke the cows and everything else up and the noise just never stopped, LOL. So I tracked down an audio clip of yipping coyotes that very closely replicates what I heard that morning. The audio is licensed under Creative Commonscourtesy of "Encorps" via freesound.org.)
