Why Black America Should ‘Break Up With the Democratic Party’

It’s no secret that many Black Americans are disgruntled with the Democratic Party and feel like they are taken for granted.

In a recent Newsweek opinion article, contributor Pamela Denise Long said, "It’s time for Black America to break up with the Democratic Party,” and goes on to say, “If they want our votes, let them earn them.”

Long, who is also a diversity, equity, inclusion and anti-racism trainer, joins Marc Lamont Hill on “Black News Tonight” to discuss why Black people should divorce the Democratic Party.
