Old model steam engine run for first time in over 20 years

I found this engine in the dump over 40 years ago (gulp!..am I that old??) and ran it a few times in my teens until the original flywheel broke. I never found a replacement but held onto it, and when I got a metal lathe a few months ago I had the means to make my own. I cut a chunk from an old broken vise and turned it down on my new Taig lathe. As you see in the video the engine was pretty run down so I cleaned it up and painted it, built and replaced some other missing parts and it came out okay. It's an old German model that I found out was probably made in the 50s. Enjoy, and have a look at my other videos!
