Older radioactive lenses tend to yellow over time but there is a way to de-yellow thorium lenses. Using the Jangso lamp from IKEA you can remove the yellow case from lenses caused by radioactive yellowing of pentax lenses or takumar lenses. Vintage lens yellowing isn't permanent but it is part of the character of the lens itself.

I will teach you how to get yellow tint out of radioactive lenses or thorium lenses. You can cure a radioactive lens easily in just a few days instead of leaving them out by the window for the UV light to clean them out.
