Meet one of the most affordable pickup models in the world: the 2021 Chevrolet Colorado.

The Chevrolet Colorado, along with its GMC Canyon ounterpart, have been in production by General Motors since 2003. The Chevrolet Colorado now sits in its second generation, where it has been since the 2012 model year. Since its been so many years since the model has been redesigned, one might expect that it has become outdated and unpopular. However, this model still remains competitive and is consistently ranked as one of the better compact pickup truck models.

What can we expect from the 2021 Chevrolet Colorado?



As previously mentioned, the road oriented Chevrolet Colorado mid size pickup truck hasn’t been redesigned since the 2012 model year, so a complete overhaul of this model is likely coming in the next few years, possibly in 2021. That’s not to suggest that the model needs it as it remains a popular and sufficiently competitive model. Assuming an all-new Chevrolet Colorado is coming, the interior of this model will benefit greatly from this. The current Chevy Colorado’s back seats are crampy and uncomfortable. Additionally, the interior design has become bland and outdated since General Motors has failed to make any notable changes to it in a long time. The cramped rear seats will be a tougher issue to address since the Chevrolet Colorado is a compact truck. But if the company elects to redesign the exterior, they could make the model longer allowing for additional room for the passengers. If a complete redesign happens, we could also expect some additional interior features for added comfort.
