TV6 in Trinidad interviewed veteran Caribbean diplomat and long time commentator on CARICOM affairs, Sir Ronald Sanders, on the issue surrounding the Secretary General, Dr Carla Barnett. Sir Ron expresses the view that as a committed integrationist, Dr Barnett should rise above the fray by withdrawing her name and allowing Heads of Government to unanimously select a Secretary General so that CARICOM can focus on working in the collective interest of the Caribbean people.
