The Power of Repentance (Tawbah) and Seeking Forgiveness | Post of the Day

The Prophet Muhammad PBUH said:“By Allah, I seek forgiveness and repent to Allah more than seventy times a day.” (Sahih Bukhari: 6307)

He PBUH also said:“O People, repent to Allah! Verily, I repent to Him a hundred times a day.” (Sahih Muslim: 2702A)

This is a beautiful reminder of the importance of constantly turning back to Allah in repentance, no matter how small or large our mistakes. If the Prophet PBUH, who was sinless, sought forgiveness multiple times a day, how much more should we? 🤲

Let’s make istighfar (seeking forgiveness) a daily habit. Allah’s doors of mercy are always open, and His forgiveness is boundless.
