Elton John - All the Girls Love Alice (1973) With Lyrics!

From Elton John's 1973 album "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road," recorded in France. The song tells the tragic story of a teenage lesbian walking on the dangerous side of life. Elton's hard-rock music, especially with the help of Davey Johnstone's guitar work, was successful in bringing the danger and drama to life. Nigel Olsson provided car noises, as well as the drums. This is the only track on the "Yellow Brick Road" album that Ray Cooper appears on. He played on the "Madman" album in 1971 and would become a full member of the band in 1974. And Kiki Dee made her first appearance on an Elton John record with this track! Her vocal was recorded in London and added later.
