HOW TO MAKE A FLYING CAR!!! THE CLOTHES-LINE METHOD!!!

Hello Ladies & Gentlemen and as always, thank you for watching!!! Today, we take a little slow time at the shop and use that time wisely by educating and training some of our crew. Oscar, Brad, Gavon, Kenny and I all participate in a rarely used recovery method called "the clothesline method". Watch the video and you will understand the meaning of the clothesline. This is a very unique and surprisingly dangerous maneuver. There is an enormous amount of stress being placed on the main line that lifts the car as well as stress placed on the booms of the trucks. Even though this may look simple, it's actually quite complex when you start doing all the math that goes along with the geometry and physics in play here. With that said, we still make a car fly!!!! LOL. At least it looks that way. At one point in the video, you can see where we had some observers watching us while we trained. One is never too old to learn!!!
