Low Impact Tractor Logging | New Holland T5050 + Tajfun Winch | Husqvarna 562XPG & Stihl MS462

Today we’re doing low-impact tractor logging using the New Holland T5050 paired with the Tajfun EGV85 AHK SG winch. We also bring in the GAP 110 forwarding trailer to move logs efficiently while minimizing ground disturbance.

We’re back on the Willock Farm, cleaning up the last of the storm-damaged trees left behind from Hurricane Heleen. The terrain is steep, the wood is tangled, and the pace is slow—but this is real-world tractor logging.

We’re running two saws today:
🌲 Husqvarna 562XPG – heated handles, powerful cutting
🌲 Stihl MS462 – lightweight and fast for production felling
