How PRRT Can Improve Care for Neuroendocrine Tumor Patients
Neuroendocrine tumor patients now have wider access to Peptide Receptor Radionuclide Therapy (PRRT) following the January 2018 FDA approval of Lutetium 177 DOTA-TATE (Lu 177). PRRT was approved for the treatment of somatostatin-receptor-positive gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (GEP-NETs), including foregut, midgut, and hindgut tumors in adults.
