How to Use Messenger End-to-End Encryption | Secure Chats & Privacy Settings Guide

If you want to keep your conversations more private, Messenger’s end-to-end encryption feature ensures that only you and the person you’re chatting with can read your messages. In this video, I’ll show you how to enable and manage encrypted chats in Messenger step by step.

First, open your Messenger app and tap the menu icon at the bottom right corner of your screen. From there, go into Settings, where you can access all privacy and security options for your account.

Next, tap Privacy and Safety, then scroll to the Security section and select End-to-End Encrypted Chats. This is where you can manage secure conversations and control how your encrypted messages are handled.

Inside this section, you can also choose Message Storage and set up your backup method, such as a PIN code or cloud backup, to keep your encrypted chats safe.
