Trip facts:
My DR650 – 15/43 gearing.
Oodnadatta to Purni Bore, 253km, 12L.
Purni Bore to Birdsville, 372km, 25.5L
TOTAL = 625km, 37.5L
The other DR’s ran 15/44 gearing and used 34L, 36L, and 38L total.
