Little India Riot 2013 - 10 years on...

On December 8, 2013, the streets of Little India were in chaos. I could see police vehicles and ambulances lining up on Race Course Road from my flat in Farrer Park. I went down to find out what was happening. This video is a recap of my experiences during that fateful night and the situation after that.

Singapore has a population of 5.92 million as of June 2023. We also have a Work Permit (Foreign Worker) workforce of 1 million as of June 2023. This Riot has taught us to respect our guest workforce for helping to build up modern Singapore.
