2025 Audi Q8 TFSI e Quattro Plug in hybrid technology
The latest updates to the Audi Q7 and Q8 models include several enhancements aimed at boosting their appeal to consumers. Notably, the vehicles feature improved engine capabilities and the addition of electric power.
Beginning with their engines, the updated 3.0-liter V6 engines in these models now produce 335 horsepower. Additionally, the integration of an electric motor adds another 174 horsepower, bringing the total to 389 horsepower. This power boost enables the hybrid Q7 and Q8 to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 5.7 seconds. For those seeking more speed, the 60 TFSI e quattro variant offers a robust 483 horsepower.
These SUVs also come with a new, more efficient battery system. Positioned beneath the trunk's floor, the enhanced battery setup includes 17 cells, each with 70 Ah, accumulating a total capacity of 25.9 kWh. This allows for an extended driving range of up to 56 miles purely on electric power. The battery's design facilitates a quick recharge, achieving full capacity in under four hours.
Audi has also revamped the design elements of these models. High-intensity LED headlights are now standard, with the option to upgrade to Matrix LED or HD Metric LED headlights that include Audi's laser light technology. The interior and exterior can be further personalized with nine new decorative inlays, a variety of seat stitching colors, and five new wheel designs, available in sizes from 21 to 23 inches.
Additionally, for enhanced handling, the facelifted models are the first to offer optional all-wheel steering, which is particularly useful in navigating tight spaces.
These updated Audi Q7 and Q8 models are now available for order. Pricing starts at approximately 85,500 euros for the base model Q7 55 TFSI e and increases depending on the model and configuration, with the Q8 60 TFSI e reaching about 103,200 euros.
