Wolverine Makes His Return Looking to Prove He Hasn't Lost a Step. After two consecutive bouts against Austin Turpin, with the most recent bout resulting in a loss, Wolverine looks to bounce back and prove that he is still levels ahead at 205 pounds. Due to a weight miss from his opponent, his second bout with Austin Turpin took place at Heavyweight which he lost. His only other loss in Power Slap was against the dominant Heavyweight Champion Damien Dibbell, also at Heavyweight. After a split run in his first few appearances, Vern put together a string of impressive wins at Light Heavyweight, most recently stopping Austin Turpin at Power Slap 8 (also at Heavyweight due to a weight miss). Wolverine returns at Power Slap 10 after his longest layoff to date, to remind the division why he sits at the top.
