Skullgirls 2nd Encore: Peacock's Voiced Story Mode

The only 3 characters I really put my heart into learning and playing in this game so far are the 3 in my one and only current team: Filia, Cerebella, and Painwheel.

So apologizes if my Peacock play in this video doesn't look up to polish. I tried playing her in Training Mode before going for this.

Also, the video may look a bit choppy. I'm still working a bit with OBS to make these PC videos, so please bare with me.

There once was a young girl named Patricia Watson, an orphan who was a victim of a Rommelgrad slave trade. The slave traders did not hesitate to completely mutilate her body apart, such as stabbing out her eyes. However, what was left of Patricia was rescued by Dr. Avian of Lab 8, who had plans for her.

Using his Argus System technology, as well as the Avery Unit, Dr. Avian rebuilt Patricia with a new mechanical body and a whole arsenal of weapons that defied all logic. From this point on, Peacock was born, and the main purpose of her creation was to destroy the current Skullgirl.

Dr. Avian explained much of his creation of Peacock to two of his other subjects, Hive and Leduc, all three of them standing behind Peacock while she watched one of her favorite TV shows with her other living units: Avery, Andy Anvil, and Tommy Ten-Tons.

The 13-year old Patricia's transformation into Peacock turned her into a foul-mouthed, cigar-smoking vigilante, who would rather make the Canopy Kingdom her bloody playground more than anything. The next morning, she dresses up, puts on her bear trap teeth, and heads out with her crew to literally paint the town red as their hunt for the Skullgirl began!

They cause carnage throughout New Meridian, Little Innsmouth, and Maplecrest. They weren't gonna stop until they found the Skullgirl, but they also weren't going to do this without having fun, either!

When Peacock and her crew took a quick break to talk about their next TV plans, they suddenly got a distress signal from Dr. Avian, and hurried back to his lab. The lab was in ruins and completely destroyed, but the most shocking sight Peacock saw was Dr. Avian, himself, with deep, bleeding cuts all over his body.

It turns out that Valentine of Lab 0 was behind the damage, by letting the Skullgirl enter Lab 8 and wrecking everyone in it, including Avian! With his dying breath, Avian believed that his magnum opus, Peacock, would be the one to end the Skullgirl. He subsequently died in his own pool of blood.

Peacock and her crew were FURIOUS that Valentine killed their creator, so they took his advice and followed Valentine and and the Skullgirl back to New Meridian.

From there, Peacock discovered that the Skullgirl was none other than her own best friend, Marie! The transformed Patricia wanted to talk to her, but she was stopped by her accomplice, Double, who planned to end things right then and there by copying Peacock's form. Peacock, however, proved to Double that a copy can't beat the original.

Peacock and her crew reached the Grand Cathedral, where Valentine awaited. She hated Dr. Avian's vision, which is why she sent Marie to wreck Lab 8 and kill Avian. Peacock's crew unleashed all of their weapons on both her and Double's true form as a rebuttal.

Peacock then went into the catacombs under the cathedral to find Marie waiting there. Although Peacock was made to destroy her, she was still the great friend she always knew. Marie, likewise, did not want to hurt Patricia for the same reason.

They then give it their all in their fated battle, but Peacock came out on top, just as planned.

Believing that she was the strongest being alive, Peacock foregoes wishing upon the Skullheart and destroyed it, instead. Before Marie vanishes as a result, she reveals that she became the Skullgirl in order to get revenge on the slave traders that mutilated Patricia, leading her to become Peacock.

To pick up where Marie left off, Peacock decided to attack the Medici Mafia, herself, starting with their head, Lorenzo, but not before dueling against his greatest hitwoman, Black Dahlia. Patricia's assault was all in the name of both her and Marie for how their original lives were destroyed by these very people.
