Local favorites on Oahu: Breakfast, Sushi, & Dessert

Aloha and welcome back! 👋 In this video my boyfriend and I take you with us to a few of Oahu's most iconic eateries, including our favorite sushi spot on the whole island!

The first place we hit was Mistu-ken Okazu and Catering, located in Kalihi at 2300 N. King St. for a classic local breakfast plate. It's a small shop serving big time grinds, check them out the next time you're in the area, but make sure to come early as there's always a line (always worth the wait tho 😋).

After pounding the breakfast deluxe combo, I kanaked and took a mid day nap, and after slipping into something more comfortable, we were off to lunch at our FAVORITE sushi spot in all of Oahu. Located at 91-590 Farrington Hwy Ste 130 in Kapolei Shopping center is Sushi Bay. We come here at least once a month 🙈 because it's that good! The quality and quantity of food is what brought us here, but we kept coming back because of the service! Everyone from the hosts, the servers, and the chefs are phenomenal (I bet the back of the house is just as pheonomenal)! They make you feel like family, this place is worth the drive and the wait (before covid-19, there would always be at least a 30 min wait to dine in, however since they are only doing takeout now, that no longer applies).

And finally, for dessert we take you to Oahu's most beloved bakery/diner: Liliha Bakery, located on 515 N. Kuakini St. There are tons of delicacies to choose from but we're here for what their known best for, coco puffs! These light but satisfying pastries never fail us, do yourself a favor and stop by today to get some!
