30 DAYS IN LONDON - #LarsaTravels

Hello my amazing people! I finally managed to sort all the footage from November and February from my trip to London, and put it all in 19 mins! Yay!

I know I could have done more in 30 days, but there were days when it snowed and rained, and I didn't step out ( 7-10 days in total). Also, I'm a slow traveller, which means, I love to take it slow, one or two spots in a day to soak it all in, instead of running from one end to another.

I have managed to put as much information as I could. If I've missed out on anything, it will be in my list down below.

This trip was not at all sponsored, and I've spent my savings to visit and enjoy the trip :) (pls don't ask me how I have the money, I have been working on this for 6+ years, so I earned it myself. Simple.)
🌏WHERE DID I STAY? -
I was fortunate to live with Siddharth(my handsome boyfriend) in his student accommodation. He studies in London, and we thought it would be amazing for me to visit him and create content there :D

🌏WHAT DID I EAT?-
Food in restaurants, in London is super expensive. a single meal could cost you INR 2000/- . We did eat outside some times, but for majority of the times, we bought groceries and cooked our own food.

🌏HOW MUCH DID I PACK?-
Winter clothes are so annoying to pack because they are bulky. I had two big suitcases. I'm turning into a light packer, but winter just gets to me and I need my woollens :s

🌏HOW MUCH DID EACH TRIP COST?-
Each trip in November cost me 1lac in total x_x even after I saved on my accommodation. It's a very expensive city guys :'(

🌏IS COMMUTE EXPENSIVE?-
Well, you just cannot take an uber or a cab in London unless you're okay with spending INR 15000 on just one trip from the Airport to London xD YEs, cabs are freaking expensive, especially when I come from Mumbai which is so cheap when compared. (I missed the mumbai taxis a lot lol). You can take the tube(underground railway) to almost all places. tube is very organised and takes hardly any time to reach any spot. I travelled with the Tube only. You buy an Oyster card and refill it accordingly.

🌏WHAT'S THE SHOPPING SCENE LIKE?-
London is great when you're into luxury brands. It has the best luxury brands to chose from, and the best collection. The only reasonable brands I came across there was Urban Outfitters, HnM, Forever 21 (the ones that are available in India too :/) Primark is great for reasonable shopping :D I shopped a lot at Primark. Weeee

🌏WHAT'S THE CLUBBING SCENE LIKE?
Just know this, if you go to a club in London, especially alone, or with a couple of friends, it means you need to get laid/hook up/makeout. xD Even with my boyfriend around me, men approached me, girls approached my boyfriend(even tried grinding xD excuse me back off witch). If you seem like you're not interested, you are considered as weird. Well, this was my experience. If you're with a bunch of friends, I'm sure that's not the case. Club entrees can cost you as little as INR 2k to as much as 20k for just one night :P Good luck! Get some gin&tonic from Tesco(grocery store) to pre-drink and enjoy at the club later xD

🌏WHAT'S THE BEST TIME TO VISIT LONDON?
If you love winters, November end is amazing! It's not the coldest and it has the Christmas sets up already. It's pure magic! You also get to visit WinterWonderland in Hyde Park, which is nothing less than a fairytale experience. I've never been in London for Spring/Summer, but I've heard it's the best.

🌏HOW ARE THE PEOPLE IN LONDON?
The people make 70% of my opinion for any destination. I've experienced a 90% of good behaviour from people. They have always complimented my outfits and spoken well. So I'd give London a 8/10 for it's people.

🌏WHY WOULD I VISIT LONDON AGAIN?
-London is supreme when it comes to fashion and dressing up. Every person is so well presented, it blows my mind.
The food is never a problem. You have really healthy options and fresh food, when compared to the United States. Also, it isn't as bland.
People are considerate when they talk to you. You learn so much, from even the homeless. Every person is talented. :) There is something, for everyone.
