Pope Francis to visit once ISIS-controlled Christian town in Iraq
The Christian town of Qaraqosh - which was controlled by ISIS until just four years ago - is preparing for a visit from Pope Francis during his historic tour of Iraq.
During his stop in Qaraqosh the Pope will visit the church in the centre of the town which has been restored after being destroyed by Islamic state fighters.
Pope Francis brought a core message of interfaith dialogue to his official meetings with the prime minster and president of Iraq - a country and region which has been pulled apart by religious polarisation.
