Make a Polymer Clay Mum Cane with a Translucent Background

This cane has a bit of a story. Back in the mid 2000s, when I was still pretty new to doing clay online with folks, I wanted a way of doing flower canes with lots of petals. And I came up with this design, roughly. I am pretty sure a few of us did a similar thing at a similar time so there's lots of variations on this out there by now. Here's mine, in one of my favourite colour combos for it!

In this video I am using: Premo! Peacock Pearl & White. The translucent clay is a mix of Premo translucent, white translucent, Sculpey 3 translucent... whatever I could get my hands on with the ongoing weird supply shortages.
