Vengeance in the stars #14 Mortarion

My goal with this series is to create a 20 part story album that covers how each Primarch met the Emperor, or if there is little covered by the lore a feat of strength they completed prior to joining Emps.

I am trying to make each one in a music style that I think would fit that Primarch. EX Fulgrim is a hair metal song. I hope you enjoy, and yes I know AI is evil. thanks.

I wrote the lyrics, I used Suno for the music and never claimed to have done more. Once the album is complete it will be put onto spotify and other streaming platforms for free (excp apple that makes me put a price). The main purpose of this music is to be used on my channel. This prevents issues with copyright strikes.

Under skies of toxic gray he learned to breathe the pain
Chains of iron 'round his soul watching alien domain
In darkness deep of poison night his spirit bound in cage
But the fire burned within in this dark and endless rage

Master whispered tales of dread in tongues so sharp and cold
The boy became a warrior strong in this grip of iron hold
He dreamed of freedom's distant breath beyond the stars and dust
Yet vengeful demons clung to him his heart began to rust

Father came with thunder's roar lightning in his hands
Shattered chains of cruel fate on poisoned barren lands
But the darkness hung around with a vengeful thorny crown
Mortarion's heart still chained in hate no solace to be found

Blood of enemies like rivers fell upon the wasted soil
In the quiet of the night his soul began to toil
Would freedom's dawn bring solace or stoke a deeper blaze
His spirit torn and fractured in the war's relentless haze

Stars above held silent watch pulsing with old secrets
As boy turned warrior and father shared a past of regrets
The silence echoed louder than the victory's gained cries
Mortarion sought unseen foes in the vastness of the skies

To the echoes of betrayal his heart could never rest
Among the stars and poisoned winds vengeance was a guest
Father's hands had freed his chains but darkness lingered still
No peace for broken souls adrift on fate's relentless mill
