Squealing Auger Bearing on a Toro Power Max® 824 OE (37798) Snow Blower

This is a new Power Max® 824 OE (37798). On it's first visit to the bench we replaced the auger bearing and flanges because the owner said "it would squeal after it warmed up" and sent it back to it's owner only to have the same problem. On closer inspection (and after engaging the auger and letting it run for the better part of half and hour) it was clear that there was pressure on the ends of the auger bearing. Because this unit was under warrenty we called the Toro Tech line and they had us replace the bushings and flanges again. Then they sent us a new auger gear box. When that didn't fix it they sent us a whole new housing. It wasn't until we had replaced the housing that it was obvious that it had been welded wrong and was the source of the problem.
