Theory and Simulation for Confidence Intervals in a Probability and Statistics Lecture

How should the confidence level of a confidence interval be interpreted? It helps to simulate it in a spreadsheet. We can simulate sampling from a uniform distribution U(0,10) with =10*RAND(). In this case we can assume the population standard deviation σ is known and use a standard normal z critical value. If we use a sample standard deviation S, then we need to use a t-distribution critical value with γ=n-1 degrees of freedom. Asimow Text on Probability and Statistics: https://amzn.to/3i9cK3Q.
