WHAT CAN I EAT WITH CLEAR ALIGNERS ON? DO I HAVE TO REMOVE IT EVERY TIME I EAT? MUST WATCH FOR ALL!!

One of the common queries that I get is ...Doc! What can I eat with my aligners on in my mouth? Do I need to remove them while eating?

I have tried to address this in this video. The company recommends that we should NOT EAT or DRINK anything except water with the aligners on.
However my personal experience and my patient's experience... I can give you a tip: Eat only when it's ABSOLUTELY necessary and you cant remove them! Drinking coffee/tea is ok if it's sugar-free...we don't you ending up in cavities...the staining doesn't happen much in Invisalign Clear aligners with drinking tea, coffee, or even smoking!!
But for the overall health of the teeth and gums it's best to avoid drinking sugary stuff with the aligners on...and if u happen to do so then rinse your mouth and clean the aligners the first chance you get!
