'Nothing to do with Marcos': Lawyer says Discaya's surrender to NBI part of legal strategy | ANC

Government contractor Sarah Discaya on Tuesday showed up at the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) office ahead of the expected issuance of an arrest warrant against her. Discaya went to the NBI following President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr.'s statement earlier that the arrest warrant will be issued "this week." Discaya and several DPWH executives in Davao Occidental are facing malversation and falsification of public documents charges over a ghost project worth nearly P100 million. Meanwhile, Roma Rimando, president and authorized managing officer of the Discaya-owned St. Timothy Construction Corporation, voluntarily surrendered to the Pasig City Police on Monday night.
