Episode 1 of URBAN RECREATION dives into Vitilla, a form of baseball played with a plastic bottle cap and broomstick that started in the 70s. The stick ball game, popular in the Dominican Republic and played by many of today’s professional stars, takes over streets, alleys and ball fields across the city and provides a strong sense of home to a growing Latin community.
