How do you start a food forest in just a year? Learn about this new food forest - it's beautiful, abundant and amazing and only one year old!

I'm Morag Gamble of Our Permaculture Life and the Permaculture Education Institute (links below) and I am visiting one of the graduates of my permaculture gardening course, The Incredible Edible Garden, Chantal Tulliez. She is the designer and creator of this backyard food forest near Noosa and a member too of Permaculture Noosa and recently opened her garden to their group.

As we walk and talk, she shares her top tips for making such a thriving garden - the strategies to enliven the soil, manage the water, create multiple layers, the diversity of perennial plants, great recipes, how to keep the fruit trees at a manageable height, how to bring so much colour and beauty.
