HeartWare Ventricular Assist System Video
The HeartWare Ventricular Assist System is a miniaturized centrifugal pump used for mechanical circulatory support in patients with advanced congestive heart failure (CHF). It can be used as a Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD) to support patients as a Bridge to Transplant(BTT) or Destinaltion Therapy (DT). An overview of the HeartWare HVAS system is presented here.
