Let's meet again, this time to talk about a new topic : JHipster!

JHipster is a widely used, Open Source rapid application development platform for creating simple Spring Boot web apps with a wide range of client-side frameworks like Angular, React, and Vue. You can also build complex micro-services architectures with Spring Cloud, Netflix OSS, Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, and much more! (https://www.jhipster.tech/)

In this session, we will look at the power JHipster offers to developers in terms of cutting down development time and in terms of learning best practices. We will go through the features it supports and build a fully functional e-commerce app in less than 30 minutes. We will also look at advanced features supported by JHipster, like backend and frontend frameworks supported, all the additional tools and options provided, the JHipster Domain Language (JDL), customizing JHipster for your won needs with blueprints, and so on.

About our speaker :

Deepu K Sasidharan is a Software Designer by passion & profession. He is also the co-lead of JHipster. He is a polyglot programmer and cloud technology advocate. He is an open-source software aficionado and a technology advocate by passion. He has authored books on JHipster and writes frequently about Java, JavaScript, Go, Rust, CloudNative, and so on, in his blog. He works as a Developer Advocate for Adyen.
